Saturday, March 14th, I was in my first Scottish Parade. My dad is the drum major for our band (White Peaks Centennial Pipe Band) and he was in the Salt Lake Tribune. It is a full picture.
It was fun, even though I was only droning (that means I was only playing the drones, and not the actual melody with the chanter). I'm practicing, and hpoing that I will be able to play next time. I don't exactly know when that is though :-(

Hey, don't worry about it - it REALLY HARD to learn to play the bagpipes and you're sounding great. Just give yourself a little time to improve, but like I said, you're already doing great.
