Great Grandpa

My Great Grandpa died a while ago, and his funeral was on monday. It was a very spiritual experience, and he was very close to the veil. We were also closer to it through him. It was fun, and he was definetely ready. His wife went a year ago. I don't blame him for wanting to go. There were many marvelous talks, and I played bagpipes at the grave site. He was very dear to me, but I know he's dearer to heavenly father, who has a higher capacity to love, and he has truly gained that same capacity, he has become like god.

I'm playing a fun song called waterfall. It's really fun to play, and to listen to. Here is a video of it.

Scottish Man

Saturday, March 14th, I was in my first Scottish Parade. My dad is the drum major for our band (White Peaks Centennial Pipe Band) and he was in the Salt Lake Tribune. It is a full picture.
It was fun, even though I was only droning (that means I was only playing the drones, and not the actual melody with the chanter). I'm practicing, and hpoing that I will be able to play next time. I don't exactly know when that is though :-(
